Keeping with the spirit of giving back and honoring our heroes, this week’s blog is going to profile two different builds we completed for local fire departments on a pickup truck and an SUV.
Ford F-250
The first build was a Ford F-250 for the ETNA Fire Department. We used several of our products from the Wicked Store for a complete 360 build. In the grille, we mounted the TIR-3 strobe lights in white and red and the roof features the Atomic strobe lights in red and amber. We used LED lights inside the Ford badging in red that also feature a strobe function. The TIR-3 strobes are also mounted to the side of the truck, matching the grille. These strobe lights in this position are used for safety and visibility in intersections.
Moving to the rear of the truck, we installed our LED HAW Duo strobes in both the red and white lenses. These lights have replaced the factory lights and glow brighter for increased visibility. Our team also added a siren system with a variety of tones. Both the lighting and siren system are controlled with a handheld controller. Take a look at the video below to see these products in action.
Jeep Grand Cherokee
Our Wicked Warnings team completed this on-site install on a Jeep Grand Cherokee for another local fire department. Inside the windshield we installed a blue LED strobe light bar with multiple patterns. The blue LED strobes will be used when responding to a EMS call. We also installed a red and white LED strobe package for fire calls, along with mounting strobe lights in the grille and reverse lens.
A discreet siren has been installed into this Jeep, with switches mounted in the cabin. The single-switch siren has over three different tones for the driver to use depending on the situation. Check out the impressive build on this Grand Cherokee in the video below.
