Are you looking to fully deck out your Ford pickup with LED strobes, LED safety lights, but aren’t sure what your options are? On this week’s blog, we will be featuring a custom build we did on a 2017 Ford F-150. This specific truck occasionally is used on the railroad, so the proper LED lighting was critical to maintain the safety of the driver and nearby vehicles and pedestrians.
The Build: LED Strobe Upgrades and More
Let’s begin at the front of the vehicle. We synchronized the amber and white LED strobe lights for increased visibility, and swapped out the OEM headlights for LEDs. The LED headlights are brighter and more efficient, providing a visible white light compared to the yellow hue of OEM lights. Additionally, in the fog light bezel, we installed our LED HAW DUO in amber, and synced the pattern with the rest of the safety lighting in the headlights and grille.
Finally, in the rear of the vehicle, we swapped the OEM bulbs for LEDs in the reverse lights, license plate lights, and cargo lights. We also added the LED HAW DUO strobe light and synchronized the strobe pattern in white and amber.
