T&M Tree Service is a local business that reached out to the Wicked Warnings team to upfit one of their service trucks. This truck will often be parked on the side of the road; so proper LED emergency lighting is essential to ensure the safety of other vehicles and nearby pedestrians.
LED Strobes Used
We installed a pair of the TIR series Thin-X LED strobe in an amber-white split pattern located on the topper of this Chevy. These units have been flush mounted, and only come out 3/8 of an inch from the body of the vehicle for a very low profile
A second pair of the TIR in white was installed discreetly in the grille. The honeycomb grille in this Chevy is ideal for surface-mounting the TIR strobes for premium visibility.
In the rear of the vehicle, we also installed a second pair of the Thin-X LED strobes in an amber-white split pattern. Taking into account the functionality of the topper, we installed the LED strobes on the outer edges to ensure visibility even when the door is open. Our exclusive LED HAW DUO in white is mounted in the reverse lens of the taillights. Inside the cabin, we utilized our flush-mount switch to activate the entire lighting system.
